I am a woodworker and avid disc golfer based in Brooklyn NY. This bench ( 30.5” wide x 11” deep x 14.25” tall)
is my interpretation of a modern & multi-purpose disc golf storage solution. Constructed of furniture grade Europly maple, this bench is not only rock-solid, but showcases the modern look of exposed plys. The shelf component itself is made of hardwood oak, and designed specifically to hold disc golf discs. It holds ~35 discs depending on if you're storing mostly putters/mids or fairways/drivers.
Unlike similar disc golf storage solutions, this design features no exposed fasteners, yet is still able to flat-pack for efficient shipping. I tested multiple iterations of fastener types/locations, and when fully assembled you will notice no wobble when sitting on the bench.
The wood is finished with multiple coats of a durable satin marine urethane capable of standing up to heavy use and light/moderate mud, moisture etc. The finish is not outdoor rated (which means you can't leave the piece outside), short of that you shouldn't have any issues with this finish.
As for condition, this is fresh from my woodshop; however, there are some areas of chip-out that I filled with epoxy tinted with sawdust to color match (see last photo). These areas at not noticeable when assembled - but if you would like more information or detailed photos please don't hesitate to ask.
For price transparency: the cost of materials is approximately half the cost of this bench. Shipping is free for you, but costs me anywhere from $15 - $25 depending on where in the US you are located.
